The RFI range of roller coaters from Fin-Diemme have been designed for the application of water based adhesive where the customer requires the possibility to work with both Smooth and Dot Matrix rollers. This system is normally supplied as a complete line incoporating a IR drying tunnel, cooling tunnel ( to remove redisual heat from the adhesive that may cause cross contamination with A surface of the material being processed) and either the function to work with cut parts using conveyors or coating coil to coil using a tension controlled unwind and rewind system, this equipment can be configured for either method or both options together.
To keep the system both economical and flexible the equipment has been designed to allow the simple removal and exchange of both the Application (coating) roller and the Dosing Knife. A Silicone belt conveyor is used to transport the material through the coating roller which permits the material to be coated at either the same speed or sheared at faster or slower speeds to the application roller allowing the customer flexbility on coating pattern and coat weight control.
