This equipment is an example of a bespoke station developed for the measurement of the final constructed headlamp and final adjustment of various components mounted on the exterior of the lamp. The headlamp lens position is measured by a series of sensors that control the position on every axis and diagonal and then based on the measurements acquired the operator can simply carry out the adjustment of various components mounted on the headlamp so that they are perfectly positioned with respect to the final headlamp dimensions. This equipment has the additional complexity that that the headlamp can fully rotate on two axis to allow the adjustment of components on perpendicular faces of the headlamp using one ergonamic arm mounted screwdriver.
