The heart of every coil to coil laminating or coating machine is the application system, at Fin-Diemme we are able to offer every type of applciation system such as roller, gravere roller, slot, slot roller and spray along with every adhesive delivery system such as drum unloaders, tank melters, liquid dosing systems and finally all the necessary handling equipment including unwinds, rewinds, turret systems, tension controllers, and all unit are produced internally by ourselves our allowing us to provide to you with a one stop solution and customising system house. This line was developed for the application of low coat weights (5GSM) of Polyurehane reactive hotmelt via a slot head applicator for the lamination of paper materials used in the filter industry and comprises of a drum unloader to melt and transfer the adhesive from the adhesive supplier packaging to a dosing module comprising of several pumps that finely control the adhesive dos quantity across the material web width. The material tension is controlled via dancer systems on the unwind as the material is not perfectly round and via a load cell on the rewind.
